The man who found the rock initially only took half of it to be valued and asked Kamp if there could be 10,000 AUD ($6,675) worth of gold in it.
Darren Kamp, who valued the rock at $160,000, said it was split into two by the discoverer, who could not see it was oozing with gold all over, because the nugget was very dirty when it was found.
